The Wheatsheaf Inn

A warm welcome from your hosts
Andrew and Joanne
and from all the staff here at

The Wheatsheaf Inn

an award winning traditional country pub

Please join us and sample one of our guest ales or perhaps our famous malt whisky collection whilst enjoying our home cooked family style food sat in front of a real open log fire.

Take time to browse around memorabilia of 578 Squadron and 431 'Iroquois' Squadron stationed at Burn during World War II also our array of antiques and knick-knacks that have been collected and donated by customers over the years.

Why not enjoy a game of Dominos or Cards.

For the dog lovers out there please note that our four legged friends are welcome and water bowls will be provided.

We have an abundance of events throughout the year including Beer Festivals, Barbeques and Live Bands. Watch out for further information.

Come along and test your knowledge in our Sunday Quiz Night starting at 9pm - a free quiz with free food!

Find us in the Good Beer Guide 2025 as well as publications of CAMRA's Ouse Boozer and the Donny Drinker.

We are open from 12 noon every day except Tuesday (Closed) and we accept cash, credit and debit cards.

We hope to see you soon.
