The Wheatsheaf Inn

A warm welcome from your hosts Andrew and Joanne
and from all the staff here at

The Wheatsheaf Inn

an award winning traditional country pub

Due to the current period of 'lockdown' we are now closed.
Please watch this space for information when we are able to re-open.

We will be re-starting take-outs from Wednesday, 11th and will continue throughout November from Wednesday through to Saturday inclusive, so if people could please ring between 10-12 to place their order and a collection time will be given for that day (it will probably be 4.30pm onwards). The take-out menu remains the same except that we are not providing the Sunday dinners, sorry!

We are now able to offer take-out beer, wine etc so this needs to be pre-ordered. Obviously we have run our stock down but if we have it we'll sell it! You will need to bring a container for any beer take-outs.

We have stopped taking Christmas bookings as we just don't know what is going to happen in December. Those that have already booked will be contacted once a decision has been made.

Take time to browse around memorabilia of 578 Squadron and 431 'Iroquois' Squadron stationed at Burn during World War II also our array of antiques and knick-knacks that have been collected and donated by customers over the years.

Why not enjoy a game of Dominos or Cards.

For the dog lovers out there please note that our four legged friends are welcome and water bowls will be provided.

We have an abundance of events throughout the year including Beer Festivals, Barbeques and Live Bands. Watch out for further information.

Come along and test your knowledge in our Sunday Quiz Night starting at 9pm - a free quiz with free food!
